Christ Church College and Cathedral

Christ Church is both Oxford University's largest College and the Cathedral Church for the Anglican Diocese of Oxford.
It's perhaps the most famous of the University colleges. Past students included former Prime Ministers and the writer of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Lewis Carroll. Wandering through the building you can smell the knowledge seaping from the walls! Parents can hope the atmosphere will rub off on their kids by bringing them here, and they won't be disappointed by the Dining Hall which is instantly recognisable from the Harry Potter films.
Christ Church Cathedral is amongst the oldest buildings in Oxford, dating back to the 12th century. It is the only church in the world to be both a cathedral and a college chapel. It's intimate acoustics are perfect for the Christ Church Cathedral Choir who practice there everyday.
Opening Times:
Monday to Saturday: 9am - 5pm, and
Sunday: 1pm - 5pm
Please note: The Dining Hall can be closed between 12pm and 2pm
