Mill Dene Garden

Just a short drive from Moreton-in-Marsh, is the delightful Mill Dene Garden, in the grounds of an 11th century water-mill. The house and garden has been restored into Bed and Breakfast accommodation and 2 1/2 acres of garden that has been used in magazines and on television. Take your time to stoll through the laburnam walk, a rose terrace, herbaceous border and fruit garden.

Batsford Arboretum

Batsford Arboretum

One of the jewels of the Cotswolds, Batsford Arboretum has one of the largest private collections of trees and shrubs in the country.
The collections at Batsford cover a wide range of plants from around the world but have an emphasis on the Far East. There are over 3050 labelled specimens including about 1600 different trees, shrubs and bamboo.

Browse the pots amongst the wonderful plantings in the Courtyard Garden, browse in the Courtyard Shop full of the finest British crafts and chat to the potters (mon-fri) whilst they turn clay into classic garden pots.

Wellington Aviation Museum

A living memorial to the RAF Station in Moreton-in-Marsh. It has many Royal Airforce treasures not normally found in larger aircraft museums. This museum is great for aviation enthusiasts.

An exciting three-acre garden surrounding an early 18th century Cotswold stone manor house in Bourton-on-the-Hill 2 miles west of Moreton-in-Marsh. There are a number of garden rooms featuring an abundance of unusual plants in exciting colour, shape and textural combinations. A variety of small water features, interesting topiary, mainly of Buxus sempervirens catch the eye. This is a plantsman's paradise.
