Chipping Campden

Famous for its wonderfully historic High Street that dates back to the 14th century, Chipping Campden was a town that grew rich from the wool trade like many in the Cotswolds.
At the western end of the high street is the wool church of St James, well worth the walk up the road to see its 17th century monuments. In the town centre the street is lined with limestone buildings and a glorious arched Market Hall.
Centrally located in the Cotswolds, Chipping Campden is also the starting point for the Cotswold Way, a 100 mile footpath along the escarpment to Bath.
