Our Lake District and Cotswolds tour takes you to Englands most spectacular countryside. You will see the quintessential rural England. Picture
postcard scenery in the Cotswolds and stunning panoramas in the Lake District.
After an overnight in London, it's off to the Lake District by train where you'll enjoy the stunning scenery of lakes and mountains around
Conniston, Windermere, and Grasmere. On arrival in the Lake District you can relax at the hotel with afternoon tea or start exploring.
There'll be a full day "10 Lakes Spectacular" group tour on day three showing the best of the region. The next day you have free time in
the morning before departing by train for the Cotswolds. The itinerary given includes one night hotel accommodation in Cheltenham at
Lypiatt House Hotel. The next morning you will be collected from the hotel to start your two days private tour visiting the rolling hills and
idyllic villages of the Cotswolds with an expert driver guide.
Day 1
Arrive Heathrow Airport
Transfer to London by taxi
Overnight in a central London hotel
Day 2
Travel to the Lake District by train - London Euston to Oxenholme station
On arrival in the Lake District you will be met by a driver to take you to Lindeth Howe Hotel. (once owned by Beatrix Potter).
Option: Afternoon tea at Lindeth Howe Hotel
Accommodation: Lindeth Howe Hotel, Bowness on Windermere
Day 3
The 10 Lakes Spectacular full day tour introduces you to just that. Magnificent scenery of mountains, valleys and
lakes from the south to the north. The tour includes a lake cruise, a visit to the 4,000 year old Castlerigg Stone
Circle set high on the fells, and time in Keswick. You travel over passes, through beautiful valleys, see
waterfalls and traditional picturesque villages. You have plenty of stops for admiring the views and taking photographs.
You will be collected and dropped off from your hotel.

Day 4
Free time in the morning.
In the afternoon transfer to Oxenholme station by taxi. Train from Oxenholme to Cheltenham Spa by train.
(changing at Birmingham New Street)
Optional afternoon tour to see Beatrix Potter's home "Hilltop Farm" (Evening train departure to the Cotswolds)

Day 5
Full day sightseeing in the Cotswolds by private car with a driver guide.

Transfer to Heathrow airport.
The itinerary above is based on arrival in to Heathrow airport. If this is not convenient for your plans (eg flying in to different airport, all
ready in London) we can alter it to fit in with you. A deposit of 15% is required to guarantee the booking. Final payment
will be due 28 days before departure.
